NEW 10" RELEASED IN JAPAN

I`m excited to announce that this month my new 10" vinyl will be released in Japan on Sweetdreams  It was recorded at home in Bristol with ICHI. Side A was made when I was 7 months pregnant. A nurturing creative time. We were joined by friends Emma Gatrill and Marcus Hamblet & Tom Heather who played on songs with us.  Have a look at the pictures below. Later Alessi of Alessi`s Ark added vocals. One of the songs is about Alessi, a mango stone, and the human need for light. Side B is 2 songs written as a new mother which were recorded when Shuki our baby was 3 months old. He slept mostly and sometimes swung about a bit in his bouncer hanging from the door frame. You can hear him breathing.

International Women`s Day - a salute and a musical work in progress

OOMK LAUNCH: New Independent Magazine celebrating the creativity of women

Tonight sees the launch of something special that I have ashamedly overlooked to talk about until now. When I was part of the D.I.Y exhibition at Utrophia I met a woman who swapped her handmade zines with me for one of my badges. We kept in touch and then she invited me to be part of a publication that she and two of her friends were putting together called OOMK.
